Host meeting you on arrival - staff appear whether you wander out of your room and ask if they can assist. Amazing service. Every member of the team was perfectly polite, engaging, and responsive. They will organise anything that you want - trips across the surrounding area. One couple had a helicopter trip and it literally landed on the lawn of the place. That is defeintly the way to end a long day! Location - stunning is the word you will probably read most about this place. And it actually is. Room - we had the room with the terrace - I would book this again - as you walk straight out from your room into a courtyard which is in the shade and sun in the afternoon. This is an all-inclusive accommodation - it has to be as it is a trek from the local towns. The food was extremely good. It was never too much or too little the chief has got the balance right. At the end of the trip I left items in the room (very annoyed with myself) the owner looked after them and made sure we got them back. Everything was amazing

Set within a World Heritage Site in New Zealand, Fiordland Lodge overlooks views of Lake Te Anau and the surrounding mountains. It offers a restaurant, free Wi-Fi and free parking. The location is awesome with great western views. The staff treated us like royalty😊 The included breakfast was hearty with added touches. Specialty juices. Dinner was an add in but start with drinks and canapés. Excellent food right on site. Nice at the end of a long hiking day
