Big open shared spaces made it easy to navigate. All of the amenities were new or great condition. The bedroom had all we needed and the shared bathroom spaces were modern and very clean.

Warren and Carol greeted us warmly upon our arrival, delivered delicious breakfasts each morning, restocked our supplied throughout the stay, and provided excellent recommendations. We cannot recommend this enough!

The room had a great view out of 3 sides of the bay (about 50 meters away). There are a total of 4 beds (one double) and 3 twin beds in my room) if you're bringing your family. The bed I slept on was very comfortable. The building is relatively close to the main highway and town, but you don't hear any road noise. It's an easy walk to good restaurants and grocery stores. The place has an ocean theme. There's a fully stocked kitchen, so you can make your own food to save on costs. The back deck provides a great place to eat your meals while looking out at the bay. Brad (the owner) learned that I'm a whitewater kayaker, so he immediately offered to lend me his boat to paddle up the mouth of the local river. That was a nice gesture that went above and beyond! It was a beautiful paddle. Since my back surgery, it's been the only thing I've done that doesn't hurt. Thank you!! I'd definitely recommend this place!

I felt very comfortable in your accommodation; everything was new and perfectly prepared. The large glass front overlooking the pasture and the mountain range was the most beautiful feature. It’s 5 minutes to Waihi town and to Gold Discovery Center, less than 15 minutes to Karangahake Gorge, to Hauraki Heritage Train, to Waihi Beach, and Bowentown. Hobiton and the route to the Coromandel Peninsula are less than an hour's drive away. Next time I’d stay more days.

This property is "off grid" ie no wifi and no mobile reception. We had not registered this, and had to delay our catch up with work. However once we got our heads around it, we loved it. Good for the soul.

Everything we needed.. The trails on the farm, including a beautiful river path, were a real bonus!
