A smile, some nice talk & info, The delicious food, the hot water bottle ready after dinner. Edgar the responsible staff organized my transport, and was always attentive to help so Im didn't have any worry and could enjoy at fullest. A big thank you. The view is stunning whereever you look, you have to be there to feel the greatness of that place. A room with the most amazing view. Apo the dog sleeping on my door step & following me. So cute! Im glad I stayed for a few days, thats how you can appreciate every little thing. It should not be rushed, go with the pace.

Killawasi Lodge is situated in the heart of the famous Colca Valley, in the village of Yangue. Surrounded by panoramic green landscapes, it offers modern accommodations with private balconies. Wonderful place, super friendly staff that makes sure you are being taken care of, and the view from our room was just breathtaking. They take outstanding care of the property, too, growing variety of flowers, and everything is spotless clean. Their Quinoa restaurant serves the best meals we ve tasted during our three week trip. After trekking 11h we were looking forward to jump into the pool and eat. Pool was really nice: don't understand the other reviews. Dinner was vegetarian and was around 20 soles. Breakfast at 5am with loooots of carbs Room was OK, hot water, clean, towels, good wifi.

Surrounded by greenery and hills at the bottom of the Sangelle Valley and offering an outdoor pool and free breakfast, Oasis Paraiso Ecolodge is located in Cabanaconde. Such a beautiful place to stay in the heart of the canyon! The lovely gardens were also a perk, and of course the pool after a long day of walking. The rooms were cosy and the food was great. We loved our time here - thank you.

Llahuar Lodge is located along the trekking circuit of the Colca Canyon in Arequipa, approximately a 5-hour walk from the town of Cabanaconde, right at the union of the Colca and Huaruro rivers. Amazing place, perfect to rest after trekking in the Colca Canyon, staff is incredibly sweet and available, location is great, atmosphere is calm and restoring.
