Situated in Ollantaytambo, Vertical Sky Suites offers accommodation with seating area. An American breakfast is available daily at the property. We were a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens/teenagers), we booked 2 of the pendant domes. They picked us up in Ollantaytambo, and took us on a quad ride to their reception (the kids said quad ride was a blast!). We were welcomed with soft blanket and tea by the heater. We needed to have at least 1 adult in each pod; the boys were with my husband, and they had to wear harness to climb to their pod. The jacuzzi was amazing, and when we woke up in the morning - the view....You have to see it for yourself. Everyone should experience it at least once in a lifetime.

The staff were great: Ramon, Checo and Daniel. Daniel was super on top of things. From the get go we knew what was going to happen. All of them accommodated translation in both English and Spanish. Took their time and we made it!!! This was a very doable experience., I never did a Via Ferrata nor Ziplining nor an extreme sport before and I was very proud. My partner was his first time too, but he is more fit then I am. The facilities were clean, comfy, cozy. SkyLodge was the best bed we had slept in, from our entire Peru trip and that says quite a lot. All instructions were easy to understand and we felt extremely safe all the way. We had the highest pod and had no issue moving between our and the dining pod, even in the dark! There was wind blowing, however nothing too drastic shaking the pod, as some reviews stated(and we did have very strong winds that night- it rained that night) not too much noise as some reviewers experienced from below traffic or the train and only some lights from the towns below but nothing too bad (close the curtains on that side if ur bothered) The food was great, we felt like VIP's and all were truly genuine in their service and hospitality. From our hotel pick up to our drop off (we had a massage appointment to make in Cusco that afternoon) they went out of their way to accommodate us and make the experience one out of this world♥️. The family is amazing- I learned more Spanish from Tania and a bit of Quechua, too. The hostel has many beautiful plants and it feels very tranquil. Thanks! I hope to be back:)

The room was big and clean. The owners were very welcoming and provided a good breakfast. Also they provided us with great information where to go around Ollantaytambo.

Star lodge was exceptional. The location, the food, the staff the activities. It was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. A special thanks to Bryan and Alan for being so welcoming & helpful throughout. Would strongly recommend anyone visiting the area to stay in Starlodge for a unique experience

This property exceeded our expectations in so many ways. It appeared even more spacious and inviting than the photos suggested. During our six-night stay, we felt incredibly comfortable, almost as if we were at a 5-star resort. We intentionally chose this location for its proximity to Ollantaytambo while offering a peaceful escape from the town center. We even enjoyed a scenic walk to the Ollantaytambo citadel one morning. Vanessa was an exceptional host, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. She went above and beyond, offering a complimentary drive to the train station on our Machu Picchu excursion and even offering a return pickup. Each morning, she prepared a delicious breakfast featuring freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade granola, eggs, bread, and more. We did have to request smaller portions after the first day as the initial servings were quite generous. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay. We highly recommend this place to other travelers.
