All you need to do is arrive and he will advice and assist you with all of your plans from taxis to tours. We arrived at 2pm and were able to join the 4.30pm sunset tour on the very first day. All of the main tours are easily organised by Emmanuel and some of these pick you up by boat from the property. Food was fantastic. Villa was very clean and comfortable and right on the Tambopata river. We loved our time at Sunrise of Tambopata!

With garden views, Andean Wings Sotupa Eco Lodge is situated in Puerto Maldonado and has a restaurant, a concierge service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. We're just back from a wonderful stay at Sotupa Eco Lodge. From the moment of booking we found the communication to be excellent, and we were able to pre-arrange meals to fit our vegan diet for our entire stay, as well as arrange transfers to and from the airport. Upon arrival we were given a warm welcome, and we were taken back by the beautiful location of the lodge. The surroundings are breath-taking and you feel immersed into the nature of the rainforest from the moment you arrive. The room was clean and spacious with a large comfortable bed. It looked out onto the garden and the majestic Tambopata River. The cost of the booking included 3 meals per day, and every meal we had was made with deliciously fresh ingredients and a fine example of Peruvian and Amazonian cuisine. The various activities were run by knowledgeable and friendly staff, all of whom are a credit to Sotupa, and helped make our stay extra special. I would highly recommend staying here!

The rooms and bungalows provide rustic comfort, with dark wood floors and furniture. Each comes with a private bathroom with free toiletries, and forest or oxbow lake views. There is also a fan. This lodge exceeded our expectations. Amazing meals. Beautiful wild setting. Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms. Excellent guided tours (our guide Uriel was magnificent and fabulous at spotting wildlife.) The boat trips along the rivers were surreal, especially the morning breakfast boat out to see the wild parrots on the clay licks. The pickup and luggage storage services were added bonuses. This definitely requires a three night stay (which we did) 4 nights would have been out of this world.
