Emmanuel did everything he could to make sure we had a pleasant and smooth stay, including booking all our tours, help with transportation and arranges meals for us when we could not do it himself. Expeditions organised by the lodge are various and with excellent guide (Moses). The swimming pool is a plus. Cook is great. Bungalows are very confortable. We highly recommend !

Rooms are comfortable with electricity 3 times per day. Bathrooms are shared and provide an eco-friendly toiletries kit. Fascinating experience. We were assigned a guide Savon, who grew up in the area and was a certified tour guide. He created our itineraries for each day. With his help, we saw all kinds of animals in the jungle, and took pictures through his man ocular. The night tour was most fascinating. There are so many unusual insects!  Thank you Savon! We also liked at the pace, wasn't too intense, and there was plenty of time to relax. Food was very good. All three meals. Much more food than we needed. I appreciated the coffee being available early .  The property is beautifully furnished and designed. With local woods. Very comfortable. Enjoy the hammocks.. Had a massage that was exquisite. This is an experience. That's worth every penny!

Some units include a balcony and/or a patio. Staying at the Hacienda Herrera Tambopata was the shining star of our visit to Peru. Everything about it was a delight. The staff, food, surrounding landscape, tour offerings, the room...we loved every minute of our stay.

Canoe trips can be booked and all rooms feature views of the river. There is free WiFi in public areas. Lovely clean, comfortable room with beautiful views. Staff were helpful, and the rooms were cleaned daily. The location was great - a real jungle feel yet with the convenience of being in the town. All our tours picked up from Wasai. We didn't experience any issues with noise at all, and the WiFi worked well. We saw the resident sloth every day, which just added to the experience.
