All the services that they provided were exceptional like breakfast and dinner, despite of the cold weather their lodge had many features that helped us feel warm and comfortable. The food was amazing, they took into account our dietary restrictions. The only bad thing is that we didn’t stay longer.

We are explorers people, and We were so happy to find this beautiful lodge in the middle of Titicaca Lake.

This is one of the most unique places we have ever stayed in - the hotel has just one room and is located on a man made reed island floating on Lake Titicaca. Walter was very helpful - we had a few changes in our itinerary, due to transport problems, and he was very helpful in allowing us to change our booking dates. The room was spacious with amazing lake views though the floor to ceiling windows. The meals were also very good. Please note you need to pay in cash and there are no ATM near the property (obviously!), so bring sufficient cash with you

The owner of the property is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere in this place is truly family-like, which made my stay even more special. Carlos and his family are so lovely and cute. He arranged a taxi by his friend Yoni for us to bring us to the Puerto. The boat leaving time was flexible to bring us to his Island - as it was Carlos boat, we didn’t have to pay extra. Carlos and his family made nice dinner for us, and also the breakfast was nice. Dinner was only 25 soles extra and a traditional activity tour in the morning around 2hrs was also only 25 soles. As part of the traditional tour, Carlos was driving us around with his boat and greeting the community, he showed us the local kindergarden, school etc. on the islands! We stopped on an island where locals showed us how the islands are restocked, traditional clothes etc. We absolutely loved it! Carlos also speaks pretty good English! It is very interesting what he has to tell. Just as note, it gets very cold at night and very hot at day. For night time they have a heater and many blankets.

It's a once in a lifetime experience! It is not just a place for the night stay, It is a new lifestyle. A totally different one from everything I have lived before. book with an open mind, and give trust to Felix and his family. He made us feel comfortable and shared his life with us. The toilet is camper style and there is the shower with hot water available, it is not a hotel shower, but it is incredible how they have managed to create such commodities for tourists using the lake water (which is precious to them, they drink it) There is also drinking water for guests, tea and muna, breakfast and.. shampoo! and everything you could need for your stay, plus Felix was very responsive if we had any specific needs we could communicate in advance. There were many blankent available. We got the chance to meet his family who all worked to make the stay enjoyable for us. We had a blast, he was very kind to offer us the boat ride, and took us to our tour location and made all the arrangments. He also booked us the taxi which took us from the station to the meeting point. a Very very memorable stay! I wish I had stayed more, could relax and enjoy the views and being taken care of by them! I wish we had more chances to spend time with his wife and son over dinner or breakfast for an immersive experience. Many hugs!
