Raul and Ceila were great hosts and explained a lot about the local culture. The room had an awesome view with a porch right next to the water. We were not cold in the night because Raul provided us with hot water bottles for under the blankets. There was also a gas heater available. We really enjoyed our stay and it is a great place to relax a bit.

From the warm hospitality of the hosts to the stunning location of the lodge, it has been one of my best experiences in Peru so far. The bed was incredibly comfortable—like sleeping on a cloud—and it was also impressively spacious. I especially loved the little bed on the terrace, perfect for a relaxing afternoon nap in the sun. Considering we were literally on a floating island, the shower and toilets were excellent. The meals were another highlight! Dinner was absolutely delicious (I had the chicken), and breakfast was top-notch, with a fantastic spread of fresh fruit, bread, eggs, avocado, jam, yogurt, cake, and tea. An amazing experience all around—I highly recommend it!

For me and my friends were a new experience, never we been in a place like this. It was a great experience for us, Mama Lea and Papa Mario are amazing persons and hostes . We are explorers people, and We were so happy to find this beautiful lodge in the middle of Titicaca Lake.

This is one of the most unique places we have ever stayed in - the hotel has just one room and is located on a man made reed island floating on Lake Titicaca. Walter was very helpful - we had a few changes in our itinerary, due to transport problems, and he was very helpful in allowing us to change our booking dates. The room was spacious with amazing lake views though the floor to ceiling windows. The meals were also very good. Please note you need to pay in cash and there are no ATM near the property (obviously!), so bring sufficient cash with you

The owner of the property is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere in this place is truly family-like, which made my stay even more special. The service was exceptionally professional, and the house owner takes great care of the guests. I highly recommend this place, and I will always remember the sunset on the termach

Carlos and his family are so lovely and cute. He arranged a taxi by his friend Yoni for us to bring us to the Puerto. The boat leaving time was flexible to bring us to his Island - as it was Carlos boat, we didn’t have to pay extra. Carlos and his family made nice dinner for us, and also the breakfast was nice. Dinner was only 25 soles extra and a traditional activity tour in the morning around 2hrs was also only 25 soles. As part of the traditional tour, Carlos was driving us around with his boat and greeting the community, he showed us the local kindergarden, school etc. on the islands! We stopped on an island where locals showed us how the islands are restocked, traditional clothes etc. We absolutely loved it! Carlos also speaks pretty good English! It is very interesting what he has to tell. Just as note, it gets very cold at night and very hot at day. For night time they have a heater and many blankets.

Situated in Puno, Titicaca Aruntawi Lodge Peru offers accommodation with views of the lake, and breakfast included every day. Amazing family, lodges are a bit farther into the Uros Islands so it’s very peaceful and beautiful. Good home cooked meals. Beautiful, colorful and spacious lodge.

Staying at Felix, is like staying at good friends place. Its really not that impersonal hotel stay but the real experience in how life is on Uros. Felix did everything to make sure our stay was as beautiful as possible and really made us feel like home. As we arrived super early morning he organized our transport and even let us get to our rooms early to rest a bit before having an amazing local breakfast, prepared by his wife. On sundays he took us to a local community soccer game and we could meet his friends and share a beer with them. if anyone wants to have the real Uros experience staying with Felix is the best choice.
