The Amazon Muyuna Lodge is an ecolodge in the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Communal Reserve , situated on the Amazon River shore, 3 hours from the centre of Iquitos. The location was amazing. Great to have so much wildlife around you. Meandering down the Amazon river each day was so relaxing and peaceful. Loved spotting all the sloths, monkeys and various birds from the boat and also when we did a trail in the jungle. Seeing an ant eater up close climbing a tree was a highlight as well as the pink dolphins. Our guide , Larissa was excellent.

This lodge is located on the banks of the Amazon River in Yanamono's Communal Reserve, 80 km from Iquitos. It offers rustic accommodation and daily guided excursions into the Amazonian Jungle. Everything was perfect. The staff were amazing, the tour guide Antony was great. The food delicious. The room was comfortable. Recommend 100%

Situated in Santa Clara, Ämak Iquitos Ecolodge - All Inclusive offers accommodation with full board and excursions on the river and the rainforest Ecologycal Bungalows with solar panels, private... I had an excellent stay at Amak - from the warm and helpful staff to the 3 course meals, it definitely exceeded my expectations for the very fair price. The schedule was well thought-out with interesting activities around the area and Carlos was an exceptional local guide. I felt very well taken care of.

My guide Joel came and picked me up from the airport and took me to the lodge in safety, which is approximately 2-3 hours travel. During my stay I felt completely safe as a solo traveller. The food was fresh and amazing every time with freshly made juices from local fruit in every meal. The lodge is beautiful and the rooms feature your own balcony with an incredible view. Regarding the facilities, the lodge is located on the river and is built with natural materials, so of course, expect to see insects. You are in the jungle after all! The mosquito nets do a really good job though, so I didn't have any trouble sleeping. Expect to hear wildlife noises from your room, although I quite enjoyed waking up with the sound of birds every day. The activities were super organised, and they offer a big variety for day and night experiences. All of them are wildlife experts, you get a personal guide, a personalised tour and a boat driver at all times. Don't forget to tip your guides! They will totally deserve it as well. They try their hardest to make your experience an amazing one! If you are crazy about wildlife, I recommend Joel. He could spot all sorts of animals from a distance, so I got to see a lot of different species. Both, with Wilson, the canoe driver, they had amazing coordination. I totally recommend the lodge and I would do it all over again. When you get there, you will see there are other lodges as well, which seemed to target tourists more, but not sure either. I am happy I chose this one and got to support their community!

Unforgettable life experience. Ceiba tops took care of my entire itinerary in the Amazon from the moment the plane landed, which made me very relaxed as a solo traveler. The accommodation and dining conditions were much better than I expected. Living in the rainforest cabin, surrounded by nature, you could see interesting animals visiting every day. The best part was my guide Julio parano Garcia, a passionate, reliable, sincere and knowledgeable native of the Amazon, his perfect itinerary made me feel a very special connection with the Amazon rainforest. Great!

Staff was extremely warm, welcoming and accommodating. The canopy/zipline course is fantastic. Food was delicious with good portions. Everything was very clean and comfortable.
