Emmanuel and his family take care of all of your needs. All you need to do is arrive and he will advice and assist you with all of your plans from taxis to tours. We arrived at 2pm and were able to join the 4.30pm sunset tour on the very first day. All of the main tours are easily organised by Emmanuel and some of these pick you up by boat from the property. Food was fantastic. Villa was very clean and comfortable and right on the Tambopata river. We loved our time at Sunrise of Tambopata!

Offering all-inclusive rates and located in Puerto Maldonado in the Madre de Dios Region, Corto Maltes Amazonía provides bungalow accommodations deep in the amazon jungle. Very nice lodge, in the middle of the jungle. Many birds and small wild life in the lodge. Expeditions organised by the lodge are various and with excellent guide (Moses). The swimming pool is a plus. Cook is great. Bungalows are very confortable. We highly recommend !

Located only 3.5 hours from Puerto Maldonado city. (One hour by bus and 2.5 hrs by boat) This lodge is the only one inside the National Reserve of Tambopata. Free WiFi is featured. Fascinating experience. We were assigned a guide Savon, who grew up in the area and was a certified tour guide. He created our itineraries for each day. With his help, we saw all kinds of animals in the jungle, and took pictures through his man ocular. The night tour was most fascinating. There are so many unusual insects!  Thank you Savon! We also liked at the pace, wasn't too intense, and there was plenty of time to relax. Food was very good. All three meals. Much more food than we needed. I appreciated the coffee being available early .  The property is beautifully furnished and designed. With local woods. Very comfortable. Enjoy the hammocks.. Had a massage that was exquisite. This is an experience. That's worth every penny!

Refugio Amazonas Lodge offers eco-friendly accommodation in the Tambopata National Reserve. The property features a restaurant, and some rooms include WiFi access. Stunning accommodation, friendly and helpful staff, an excellent guide, fascinating excursions, a scientific research centre which genuinely contributes to conserving the flora and fauna whilst helping the local community. Altogether the best experience we could have had in the Amazon. Not cheap but this was a once in a lifetime experience and worth every penny. Slept better here than ever before.

Such a beautiful property - really close to the town but far enough out that you really feel like you’re in the jungle. The staff were so kind and friendly and the included activities were awesome! I loved everything about it, even my little frog friend who joined me in the shower.

Situated in Puerto Maldonado, La Habana Conservation Area offers accommodation with a balcony. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. The hotel was amazing - we had great food, amazing tours (which the hotel booked for us) and a great 5km walk around the property. The pool was clean and the hotel rooms were well maintained. Would definitely stay again!

Surrounded by lush tropical rainforest and accessed by the Madre de Dios riverboat from Puerto Maldonado port, Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion is located in Puerto Maldonado. The hotel is very well run and beautiful. I know it’s not truly in the real jungle but it gave us a good taste of it with a nice level of comfort. They planned the excursions for us and timed it very well. We didn’t feel rush or exhausted. All the guides were very knowledgeable and spotted many wildlife during our excursions. We saw capybaras, caymans, river otters, many types of birds and red howler monkeys!! The food was also amazing, three courses every meal! Lastly, all the staff were very friendly and professionally! It was an amazing experience!

Featuring splendid river and jungle views, the property is located 10 metres from Tambopata River. The tour desk organizes activities such as fishing, canoeing, hiking, and cycling. From our friendly tuk tuk driver Jaime, who picked us up from the airport, to the final breakfast at this outstanding family run business, we enjoyed every second of our stay here. Rolan and his family took great care of us, the home cooked meals were sensational and the trips arranged by our hosts showed us the best this location can offer. Nothing was too much trouble - if you want to experience an authentic stay in the rainforest with excellent food and company, this is the place for you!
