We were in the Amazon!!! Emanuel & his family gave us the warmest welcome to their home. The place was amazing and the wooden houses inside the jungle by the River so clean & comfort with view that we felt so relaxed 😎 after so many (amazing) days trekking & climbing Andes mountains. Every morning Emanuel offered us tasteful breakfasts with so many flavours & unforgettable exotic fruit juices!!! Moreover they cooked for us dinners with so fresh fishes, vegetables & fruits! Delicious! The helped us & organised us daily tours to the jungle & the river to see and feel the wild life & nature! Last but not least they were so kind that transferred us to & from airport & to the village to have a drink and dinner. Staying at the Hacienda Herrera Tambopata was the shining star of our visit to Peru. Everything about it was a delight. The staff, food, surrounding landscape, tour offerings, the room...we loved every minute of our stay.

Offering all-inclusive rates and located in Puerto Maldonado in the Madre de Dios Region, Corto Maltes Amazonía provides bungalow accommodations deep in the amazon jungle. Very nice lodge, in the middle of the jungle. Many birds and small wild life in the lodge. Expeditions organised by the lodge are various and with excellent guide (Moses). The swimming pool is a plus. Cook is great. Bungalows are very confortable. We highly recommend !

Located only 3.5 hours from Puerto Maldonado city. (One hour by bus and 2.5 hrs by boat) This lodge is the only one inside the National Reserve of Tambopata. Free WiFi is featured. Fascinating experience. We were assigned a guide Savon, who grew up in the area and was a certified tour guide. He created our itineraries for each day. With his help, we saw all kinds of animals in the jungle, and took pictures through his man ocular. The night tour was most fascinating. There are so many unusual insects!  Thank you Savon! We also liked at the pace, wasn't too intense, and there was plenty of time to relax. Food was very good. All three meals. Much more food than we needed. I appreciated the coffee being available early .  The property is beautifully furnished and designed. With local woods. Very comfortable. Enjoy the hammocks.. Had a massage that was exquisite. This is an experience. That's worth every penny!

We're just back from a wonderful stay at Sotupa Eco Lodge. From the moment of booking we found the communication to be excellent, and we were able to pre-arrange meals to fit our vegan diet for our entire stay, as well as arrange transfers to and from the airport. Upon arrival we were given a warm welcome, and we were taken back by the beautiful location of the lodge. The surroundings are breath-taking and you feel immersed into the nature of the rainforest from the moment you arrive. The room was clean and spacious with a large comfortable bed. It looked out onto the garden and the majestic Tambopata River. The cost of the booking included 3 meals per day, and every meal we had was made with deliciously fresh ingredients and a fine example of Peruvian and Amazonian cuisine. The various activities were run by knowledgeable and friendly staff, all of whom are a credit to Sotupa, and helped make our stay extra special. I would highly recommend staying here!

Situated in Puerto Maldonado, La Habana Conservation Area offers accommodation with a balcony. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Gorgeous facilities and really kind staff. They even catered for vegetarians at short notice with delicious food. Such a wonderful place

Surrounded by lush tropical rainforest and accessed by the Madre de Dios riverboat from Puerto Maldonado port, Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion is located in Puerto Maldonado. Very clean and spacious rooms. The organized trips were really enjoyable and interesting, and the guides were friendly and always available to help and answer questions. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The food at the restaurant was excellent.

Featuring splendid river and jungle views, the property is located 10 metres from Tambopata River. The tour desk organizes activities such as fishing, canoeing, hiking, and cycling. From our friendly tuk tuk driver Jaime, who picked us up from the airport, to the final breakfast at this outstanding family run business, we enjoyed every second of our stay here. Rolan and his family took great care of us, the home cooked meals were sensational and the trips arranged by our hosts showed us the best this location can offer. Nothing was too much trouble - if you want to experience an authentic stay in the rainforest with excellent food and company, this is the place for you!
