Very comfortable deck chairs to sit outside. We received a very warm welcome from our hosts on the day. The breakfast was amazing lots of fruit and bread and croissants delivered on the morning.

We were lucky because we went the weekend of the Alma de Vihno festival in Alenquer (13km away), so we had access to Uber/ Bolt rides. The accommodation was so cute, and the hosts were lovely and gracious. It was harvest season, and they shared some of their fruit bounty with us. Very quiet and incredibly relaxing by the pool and listening to their multiple fountains in the quiet corners of their large property. Fantastic option to get away from the bustle of the big city. Highly recommend.

The room was incredibly cozy and thoughtfully designed, ensuring the most restful sleep we’ve had in ages. The complete silence of the surroundings, combined with the supremely comfortable mattresses and pillows, made us sleep like babies. Every morning, Ariana prepared delicious and hearty breakfasts that kept us full until evening. The warmth and kindness of the hostess truly touched our hearts. Ariana made us feel so welcome, and we are happy to say that we’ve made a new friend in Serra de Estrela. We cannot wait to return to this magical place and experience its charm all over again. Highly recommended for anyone seeking tranquility, comfort, and a genuine connection with nature and wonderful people.

It was still chilly in the evening in March however the wonderful fireplace and the awesome ambient lighting through the space meant that our stay was cosy and warm. The little details and thought that’s gone into everything really shows. The robes, the towels, well & tastefully equipped and comfortable. We were busy with activities but met Nuno briefly, who was warm and accommodating and very responsive when we asked about additional wood for the fire. The outdoor bathroom is cute and the hot shower is excellent! Having it outside added for us to the natural experience of the beautiful setting. We’d recommend to anyone wanting to explore the lovely region.

Boasting free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking and cycling. Everything! The location was amazing! Just an adorable cabin in the middle of beautiful Talasnal. We absolutely loved the enclosed fireplace. We ate a good meal every night with the fire going. The hosts are fantastic and super responsive. We made the mistake of locking ourselves out one night, and Pedro and his wife were quick to help us resolve the issue. I can't recommend this place enough!

We enjoyed our stay here so much. The place is lovely, they left such sweet breakfast for us. And most of all, the staff was so kind and flexible when our plans had to change. 100% recommend.
