Very quiet in the woods. Great hospitality by the owner. They provided a nice breakfast delivered to our treehouse door each morning. We also ordered their charcuterie board and wine for dinner one night. It was fantastic. Lots of cheeses, meats, nuts , fish, bread and more. We had enough for 2 nights. Would recommend to those wanting a unique experience in a natural setting.

Hos Solar do Cávado i Vieira do Minho er der udsigt til floden, en sæsonåben udendørs swimmingpool, et fælles opholdsområde, en terrasse, en restaurant og en bar. The breakfast offers a great variety, good quality and fresh products. The room was quiet and the large opening windows offer a spectacular view of the lush green surroundings. No other sounds here than birds, wonderful to keep the window open at night. The river is only a 3 minute walk down the mountain, and offers great swimming or kayaking. Joana and Nathalia are so lovely, they work swiftly and did everything they could to make us feel at home and it was a wonderful stay. The hotel kitchen offers snacks and complete meals (dinner), highly recommended! The food is delicious and plentyful, really incredible value for money. All in all, this is a really great place to stay!

Oak Nature ligger i Vieira do Minho, 3,1 km fra Canicada-søen og 5,9 km fra Santuário de São Bento da Porta Aberta, og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis wi-fi, have med en udendørs swimmingpool,... I stayed here on March 17th, 2025. This was the best hotel in Portugal. It had amazing views, a great staff and great amenities. I will stay here frequently.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this boutique hotel. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was beyond amazing – it truly felt like coming home. The interior is beautifully designed, every detail perfectly in place, and everything was spotless. The food was outstanding – both dinner and breakfast were a real treat. I’m still dreaming about the pretzel balls, they were unforgettable! Every meal felt like a gift, prepared with so much care and flavor. This place is a gem – warm, stylish, and full of heart. I can’t wait to return! Would definitely recommend!

We were warmly received by our host Bernardino who invited us to taste a local wine. Typical regional houses, nicely renovated preserving the authenticity. The location is beautiful, lots of trails, beautiful nature. Access to a beautiful , natural pond surrounded with trees.
