In the middle of the natural park. In a few minutes' walk, you feel that you are in the middle of nature, far from civilization. The whole house is extremely clean. And the biggest impression is left by the hosts, who are extremely hospitable and kind. It's so obvious that they love people and really enjoy making guests feel comfortable.

I really loved the facilities. You don't just get a room for the night. So much more. We could play billiard while we waited for our dinner, we could hang out in the garden on some hammocks, we enjoyed a spa with a hot tub and a sauna. There is a giant fireplace for campfires surrounded by swings and an outdoor kitchen for barbecues. The food was great value fort money, and the staff was very friendly. The guy who worked there was very attentive and made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we need. I stayed only a night with my wife, but I recommend this place also for larger get-togethers with friends and family. By far the best place to stay in the area.

Though the whole complex has the air of a resort from the Communist era, it turned out things are far better than I read in older comments. The room was quite big, with a nice huge balcony, and the bathroom was modernized and had a big tub. Everything was clean (though we've found two lost so ks in one of the wardrobes). We ate at Iadolina restaurant and the food was also very good, big servings well cooked. The breakfast was satisfying, too, and the waiter was very polite and prompt. There aren't many accomodations in Stâna de Vale, which is a very small resort, but ours was the right choice.
