The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

This hotel is in Abisko, just 2 minutes’ walk from Abisko Östra Train Station. Abisko Mountain Lodge’s in-house restaurant Brasserie Fjällköket has a seasonal menu based on locally sourced... It’s definitely the best hotel in Abisko according to locals and personal experience. The twins room was very cozy and the bath was clean and warm. There is a helipad just right next to the hotel, you could meet the aurora there if you do not want to walk 15 mins to the lakeside (but not far, really). We also love the restaurant, we spent our dinner time there during our stays, staff was really helpful and cheerful.

The property offers a magical and unforgettable experience where you can live among reindeer. We stayed in a large tent with a private toilet and felt very comfortable. In winter, you need to keep the stove burning constantly; otherwise, it can get quite cold. However, even this adds to the unique and enjoyable experience. Dinner was very satisfying in a great atmosphere.

We were be able to do all activities and tours, we have in our mind. Stefan helped us during every stage of our visit. Rooms are perfect, People are perfect and Nature is perfect. We want to thank you all for this amazing Nordic experience. Even our 7 years old daughter had an amazing time. And we did not face with any diffuculties, even we were with our kid. P.S. Jonathan is the best snowmobile instructer ever :)

Surrounded by forest, Aurora Camp Kurravaara is right by the Torne River, 13 km from Kiruna Airport. Facilities include a sauna and a furnished terrace. What a beautiful cabin! It has everything you need in an excellent location. My soul was able to rest in this beautiful place.
