We stayed here as a family of 4 - parents and teenage boys. We had 2 excellent rooms. The home was lovely, including the rooms and the social space downstairs- the breakfast area and the awesome honesty bar, plus the outdoor space. The breakfast was excellent and very generous, including fresh homemade soda bread and cakes! Best of all, the hosts live next door and are a lovely Irish / Slovak family. They were very friendly and always happy to advise on activities and places to go. That was greatly appreciated and really helped us to make the most of our time. The local area has beautiful countryside and walks, plus places like huge caves (amazing) and you can get a cable car up Chopok mountain for an excellent walk on the top.

If you want peacefulness and fabulous surrounding this is for you. we dunked in the river in the property garden to cool down. Just lovely and Peter the owner was so helpful and kind. Just note there is only a little coop and a bar and a pizza restaurant here but with a car you can get to larger towns.

A terrace can be found at the lodge, along with a shared lounge. Very compact, but fully functional apartment. Kitchenette (with most things you would need) in the room. Clean, with a nice view. Our stay was very quiet but there was only one other room occupied and the walls are made of wood so experience might differ. There is also a shared kitchen in the basement, but we haven't ventured.

The apartment was super clean with comfortable beds in a perfect location near skiing slopes and hiking trails. Beautiful nature all around the place. The host was very kind, helpful and welcoming. The apartment had all ammenities for a comfortable stay, even some toys for kids. We enjoyed the stay very much and recommend to book it for family vacation.
