Tsunami Memorial - Rue Tor 813 is 4.8 km from the lodge, while Sairung Waterfall is 20 km from the property. Phuket International Airport is 76 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. For us it was the perfect place to relax. We had a bungalow which was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and will clean the room every day if necessary. They will also help with all the needs you have. The hotel is very close to a very good restaurant, laundry, scooter rental, small shop and a Muay Thai place. With a scooter everything is reachable in 5 minutes (supermarket, pharmacy etc.). We would have loved to stay longer but made the mistake to book a flight ahead. We will come back. One of the best places we stayed while traveling the world.

Amazing owner and the place is clean with amazing view. Highly suggest to rent the scooter from the owner and go to most amazing beaches at other side of the island. You will need to go through some dirt road to reach them, so don’t go on rainy days

We loved everything about Baba Ecolodge! And can't wait to return! Perfect location, food was excellent, plenty to do if you like hiking and snorkeling and kayaking. I loved how quiet and low key it was. I especially loved listening to the ocean as I fell asleep at night.

Very nice and healthy eco lodge at the sunset side of the island. Lovely staff and a nice little gym. Food was very good as well. Need a bike of scooter to go around the island from here.

We spent one night at the hotel and rented the Wooden House for $750. The hotel is very beautiful, and the staff is super polite and attentive. The restaurant serves delicious food, but the portions are small, so I recommend ordering more.

The views are just stunning, once in a lifetime experience. We went for the wooden house with the bath tub as it was our honeymoon. The views from our bed and balcony were breathtaking, but there are plenty of good viewing and picture taking spots around the hotel even if you’re staying in the basic rooms, which we didn’t know before booking so worth keeping in mind.

O and Mei were great hosts. Extremely welcoming. We even cooked with them, and on other nights Mei cooked us some delicious local Thai food. The wooden house handbuilt by O is also really cool and original.

we stayed in a wooden house, it was clean and fully equipped. The vibe was so chilled. loved the set up. Amazing evening meals and breakfast. The staff especially Jam and Noon went above and beyond helping us with anything. Their kindness was amazing and it really added to the highlight of our stay. We will be recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing affordable experience. Koh Yai was a wonderful island.
