Beautiful view, perfect cleanness, beautiful architecture and design, quality of materials. You are living in the jungle but you have your own little safe house without any animals and insects. Super private and comfortable. Surprisingly there even were no mosquitoes outside. You can always have some good drinks and food in the hotel’s restaurant. Breakfasts are good, but pretty simple and of course not as variative as you can find in many cafes and restaurants on the island.

Surrounded by nature and the occasional sounds of wildlife, Khaosok Riverside Cottages offers wooden accommodation, steps away from a calm river. Free WiFi is provided in the shared lounge. The property was so tranquil and the gardens were amazing. Close to the river where you could have a swim.

Monkey Mansion - Jungalows & Tours is located 900 metres from Khao Sok National Park. It features a private garden with plenty of plants. Mountain views can be enjoyed from the terrace. Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Excellent hospitality. Location is a little away from town. But a 50 baht per person per way taxi will get one into town in no time. The serene surrounding will make up for the distance from town. Each clean bungalow is well appointed and appropriately furnished with comfortable bed and hot shower. The restaurant serves good food at a reasonable price. I booked my lake tour and bamboo rafting with them and the experiences were good. They also helped me book my onward journey to Hat Yai. Kudos to the team at Monkey Mansion. ❤️

This is a little gem in the middle of the forest. Monkeys and monitors are just walking around. The room is comfortable (bed is very firm) the bathroom spacious and our view was overlooking the river. The best thing was the staff and the breakfast. Both truly outstanding. The staff were kind and funny and super helpful. The breakfast was a work of art. We would go back just for that! Lots to do in the area. Book yours easily through them. Park is a 10 minute walk. Amazing stay.

You know how you listen to calming wave sounds to fall a sleep? Well here you can have the real thing. Oh, what a feeling it is to wake up, open the door and just have the sea take over. The restaurant and the cafe are superb. Staff is also amazing, attentive and some of the best English i've heard in Thailand.
