Our family had a wonderful stay at Utupoa. After three nights, we really felt like it was our home away from home. The building is a wonder and itself worth the visit. Joyce and her team were so attentive, personable, and helpful and family-style meals were excellent. Utupoa sits directly on the beach and easily reachable by foot from the village of Matemwe. What a wonderful way for our family to get to know a corner of Zanzibar and to unwind from our adventures. Thank you, Joyce!

It is a quiet place surrounded by trees with an amazing view over the lagoon. The atmosphere is super familiar and the food amazingly fresh. The place is authentic and full of charm. It is the perfect place if you want to avoid the crowds of tourists and relax.

Situated in Nungwi, near Nungwi Beach, Kibanda is a lodge boasting a garden. Private parking is available on site. It was a little oasis with excellent facilities including a restaurant and spa. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic time.
