The breakfast was very simple but perfect, the hotel is so clean, with all the issues that Zanzibar has with power supplies the hotel has a good generator making sure that we don’t feel much the daily country power cut. The upper floor beach front bungalows are like staying in a treehouse on the beach. The bed is huge and super comfortable. The balcony overlooking the beach has a daybed, table and a chair. You can walk straight on to the beach. Monkeys jump around in the trees directly outside the balcony. The food is amazing, and an incredible breakfast is included in the price. The beach, although wild and windy when we were there end July/beginning of August is stunning. Absolutely perfect!

The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I loved having the animals around. The location is great too, just a short walk to the beach and main road. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend for anyone visiting the area

Beachchairs available at 2 locations by the beach, only 5 min away. Breakfast was also great. Staff is very friendly and helpful, I enjoyed my stay a lot. Thank you!

Not our first time to stay at Zanzibar Dream Lodge, and definitely not the last! Kassim and staff always had time for a good chat and were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Helping with all needs and trips to the must see/do places and the hidden gems in Zanzibar. Our room was nice and clean, and enjoyed a break in a cool room after long, warm day. And also liked the beautiful outside areas. Zanzibar Dream Lodge is a very nice, chill, quiet and relaxing place. Attended a swahili food course. Fun, cosy and gave a further understanding of the Zanzibari-culture. Otherwise enjoyed amazing food from their restaurant.
