Bay Harbor Lodge ligger 20 minutters kørsel fra Everglades Nationalpark og 8 km fra Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. The hosts are very warm and they really make efforts to make guest feel welcome and try their best to accommodate their needs. We needed beach towels in the morning for the tour on the day of our arrival, and they very kindly provided the towels before our check in in the afternoon when we passed by the hotel. And staff is always smiling and you can feel the genuine sincerity and welcome. Rooms are very clean.

Old Wooden Bridge Resort & Marina ligger i Big Pine Key, 40 km fra Florida Keys Aquarium Encounters og 30 km fra Seven Mile Bridge, og har havudsigt og gratis wi-fi. We loved the aqua/boat houses on the water! Comfy beds and spacious living rooms. We booked two of the aqua lodges #3 & #6 for our week long family fishing vacation. It was a huge plus to be able to rent a boat through the Marina and to park it at our boat house. Super easy and convenient. Also a huge plus is they are dog friendly and we got to bring our dog with us! He loved walking around the island and becoming friends with the key deer. They were everywhere and it was so precious to see all the fawns walking about!! We enjoyed the quiet nights since the resort is in more of a residential area away from highway 1. Super dark at night so you can view the beautiful starry skies. We Loved our stay and hope to come back again soon! Fishing right off the bridge to No Name Key was fun as well. But my favorite was watching the sun set from the bridge and watching the sun and moon rise from our boat terrace!!

Riverfront Treetop Bungalow ligger i Homosassa, kun 3,4 km fra Homosassa Springs. Her er en terrasse, en restaurant og en pengeautomat. The treehouse is a gem located in the middle of the nature of Homosassa River. We loved the Treehouse with it’s wooden equipped walls, spacious bathroom (with 2 sinks), cozy sofa and spacious veranda with grill. We sat ouside every evening barbecuing and watching the Spanish moss moving in the wind, which was very relaxing. We kayaked the Homosassa River to the Wildlife State Park (right side) and back, which was a very nice half day tour. We saw Monkey Island, many turtles and even a dolphin (!) hunting fish! We also enjoyed the 9am boat tour at River Safari with Susan.
