The seclusion of the cabin amongst the garden/trees and the excellent keypad locking arrangements meant that we didn't see anyone: owners or the occupants of the neighbouring lodge during our stay so it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere even though we knew the owners were closeby and easy to contact. Also, thoughtful little details, like the excellent Big Island travel guidebook in the cabin. Also, the filtered rainwater was delicious!

Best accommodation I had so far on the island, nestled within a beautiful garden and very close to the Volcano NP. Check-in is easy and extremely professionally organised. I loved my charming room on the ground floor with a most comfortable bed. Bathrooms were very clean, plenty of towels. Kitchen was equipped for preparing little meals. (Although I highly recommend the Tuktuk Thai Food Truck at the golf course)

Great location for visiting the national park and it was super cool to listen to the rainforest sounds at night outside the property. Very clean, great shower and useful to have the mini kitchen with fridge and microwave. Staff were very responsive and helpful regards check in as we were a last minute booking. Highly recommend! Great value as well.

Awful awful place. Do not stay here. If you do... Well, I might have a harder time getting a room and/or paying more. So, yeah, definitely do not stay here. 😉

Situated on the black sands of Kauai, the oldest of the Hawaiian Islands, these oceanfront cottages in Waimea have been restored with plantation-period furniture and feature patios overlooking the... Loved this place. Would definitely stay again. View from the room, comfort, gorgeous porch, air conditioning, everything was great. The restaurant- chicken bbq, and pizza, and the great beer selection made it worth coming home for dinner at night. The wonderful staff even provided us with beach chairs and an umbrella and cooler to take to the beach with us.

Location: 5 min drive to the entrance of the Volcano park..( we were so lucky to catch an eruption ! ) Short drive to store. Hardly any restaurants ,Kilauea Lodge, a Thai restaurant and Volcano Lodge that is about it! Room: Very nice comfy, clean, microwave, coffee machine, small fridge. We brought our breakfast with us. Decor particularly in the bathroom is quirky ,large shower nice soft towels, toiletries, hairdryer.

Very close to the beach 2 minutes walking, watched the sunrise every day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can borrow all kinds of things for the beach (snorkel, body boards, frisbee…) for no fee. We had the best time!
