The attention to detail throughout the property was impressive and made a noticeable difference in our experience. From the cozy atmosphere to the thoughtful touches, everything was designed with comfort and warmth in mind. The cottage was incredibly inviting and well-equipped, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. A special thanks to Sophia who is a fantastic host who truly goes the extra mile to ensure her guests feel welcomed and well-cared for. We truly enjoyed our time there and are already looking forward to returning.

The lodge offers game drives through Addo National Park, game walks on the property and guided sundowner walks. This location is the perfect couples getaway. All of the rooms are at least 40 meters apart and boast some magnificient views of the Zuurberg mountains. Dinner and drinks prices were more than acceptable and Camp Figtree was the highlight of my month long stay in South Africa. Staff were amazing too and we especially enjoyed our interactions with Siya and Mzi.

Chrislin African Lodge is a peaceful site with outdoor lounge areas, gardens, and a citrus farm. Guests can enjoy South African recipes in onsite dining lapa.

Each spacious hut at Chrislin Lodge comes with private bathroom facilities, a fridge and a ceiling fan. Larger huts also come with air conditioning and a seating area. All the staff were excellent in service and helpful making it a very good experience!

Valley Bushveld Country Lodge serves authentic South African cuisine. During cold winter evenings, guests can enjoy a drink in the lounge with a huge fireplace. The rooms were very spacious. The property is big and a highlight of our trip was to see the giraffes up close. Breakfast and dinner are well made. They give you tips on when to go to Aldo to see the elephants. The park is about an hour away.

Karel Landman Monument is 19 km from the lodge, while Lalibela Private Game Reserve is 28 km away. Incredibly peaceful being surrounded by nature and had a great time (despite the rain!). The staff were so friendly and accommodating and food was DELICIOUS! Great game drive in Addo, learnt so much and even saw lions. Hope to be back soon.
