The sounds of birds and frogs while sitting around the fire at night and having springbok and zebra wondering past the house was a treat. We enjoyed walking aroudn and exploring the farm and the dams too.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome by the lovely Pauline and her team, setting the tone for a magical stay. Our lodge was stunning—better than we could have ever hoped for—and the food was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond to assist us, with a special mention to Nugent, who made our stay even more special. Because of the intimate nature of the reserve, we also had the opportunity to connect with other guests, which added to the overall experience. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the game drives. During our three-night stay, we participated in five drives, with the morning ones proving particularly rewarding. Our ranger, the wonderful TK, not only kept us safe but also enriched our experience with his deep knowledge of the wildlife. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our honeymoon and birthday celebration so memorable. We would love to return in a few years and relive the magic!
