The sounds of birds and frogs while sitting around the fire at night and having springbok and zebra wondering past the house was a treat. We enjoyed walking aroudn and exploring the farm and the dams too.

Very nice place to stay. Nice room, nice bathroom, clean. The staff was very kind and nice. The spa is worth it and massage too.

Banhoek Lodge is situated along the scenic Helshoogte Pass, which offers an array of wine farms. The lodge boasts views of the vineyards and mountains. The most beautiful setting with 10/10 breakfast every morning. The room was so spacious with gorgeous views and a lovely bath.

Featuring a garden with sun terrace, Aaldering Vineyards & Wines offers wine tasting and a quiet countryside accommodation. With free WiFi, the property is 8 km from the centre of Stellenbosch. Absolutely perfect for a weekend away from Cape Town! The owner, Jacqueline, was present and very friendly and helpful. Suite was spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Beautiful views and a huge pool - great for anyone who wants to do laps. Breakfast was also excellent and plentiful - lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, large selection of breads, eggs & bacon, fresh orange juice and coffee. The complimentary wines - 3 bottles (2 white and 1 red) - were also very enjoyable, particularly sitting out on the patio watching the sun set over the beautiful valley. Great proximity to Stellenbosch and all its amenities. Staff were lovely, security good and visible.

Nestled amongst vineyards at the foot of Helderberg Mountain, near Stellenbosch, the Eikendal Lodge features lush gardens and a pool. Beautiful property with friendly staff. Wonderful garden and great wine taste testing. Will for sure come back, 10/10 recommendation especially for a couple.
