The pet-friendly lodge offers a barbecue. We really enjoyed our time at Tugela River Lodge. There’s so many things to do within the property like kayak, mountain bike, trails, and little farm area. It’s very clean and the staff and owner are super friendly and always willing to assist. The farm stall has a lot of supplies, so if you forget anything you wouldn’t even need to drive out. Very pet friendly as well - everything we could do with our little mini dachshund. She loved her time there and the fenced off area is big and safe. The wood-fired tub is an amazing way to wind down. The view is amazing and Bheki always comes to help fire it up ahead of time. All in all a fantastic experience as a couple, and I’m sure it’d be lovely for a family and friends group too!

Amazing nature around, great garden to chill and a lot to explore in the garden, the accomodation is very spacious and you have everything you need for cooking. Very warm hosts, we really enjoyed our time there and highly recommend it!We had a lovely time!

There are bicycles available for guests to rent, and guests can relax in the garden. The view from Montusi is unlike no other. It has a very charming vibe and the staff and the owner are very nice. We did a helicopter ride over drakensberg which I highly recommend. They organised as well a full moon walk with a camp fire and amarulla (south african liqueur). The bed is comfortable, the rooms are clean, the food is good.

Gowrie Farm Golf Lodge serves a breakfast buffet and a few restaurants serving a variety of local and international cuisines can be found within 7 km. Packed lunches are available upon request. Location was great, staff were friendly and helpful, our check in and out was a pleasure, our room was clean and very comfortable, the outlook was fantastic and our breakfast was exceptional as was the service. The overall decor was lovely too! We certainly hope to return again.

Elegantly decorated, accommodation at Winterton includes a TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. Some come with a kitchen or kitchenette, while others have a spa bath. I had a fantastic stay, the lodge is very central to the surroundings, driving out to different venues daily was very easy and safe. The lodge owners and staff just super awesome, warm and kind,. Self catering units well Equipped and made it feel like home away from home.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Such a lovely gem on a beautiful farm. The owners are such good people. We had car trouble on the way there and Jenny didn't hesitate to offer us assistance in driving us 40mins to the nearest car hire company. They really did go above and beyond to make us comfortable, even through such a stressful event. The farm and units are clean, comfortable and very well equipped. I would definitely go back anytime.

A barbecue is available for guests to use at the lodge. Host CJ is friendly and gladly shares his vast knowledge of his property's fascinating history. The view of Sounds in Silence is gorgeous and the aura peaceful. The bedroom we stayed in was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. The private bathroom is spacious and spotless. My daughter and I loved our short stay, as did our spaniel.

Featuring free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as cycling and tennis. Excellent Host and accommodation in a beautiful area. The location is perfect, a little off for a very peaceful atmosphere. The house is huge and offers everything necessary for a great stay.
