Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Beautiful setting and an easy drive after a day spent at Storms River mouth. Rooms large and comfy with views of the gorge. Plenty to offer: sauna, spa, pool, playground for kids - one night here was not long enough. Fantastic meals and a great wine cellar, the dining room with beautiful views of the gorge and waterfalls.

The atmosphere was sublime - an oasis in a desert environment. The room had everything that one could think of and more. The pool was bliss and the trees made for welcome shade in the scorching Karoo sun. The accommodation wa on a different level. Perfection personified. Thank you.

Marietjie and Mike are the owners of Harmony, so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Mike is a "braai master" of the upper encelons. Simply brilliant. Sitting by our tent and watching the Njalas less than 50meters away is breathtaking, one morning we saw a young male by our tent ⛺️ 😀

We were greeted by zebras and ostrich as soon as we entered the grounds - already quite the experience! Our room had amazing views and was very comfortable and clean. We had dinner on the property our first night which was one of our favorite meals of the trip! We did the Addo park, Schotia Safari and a Giraffe walk all by recommendations from Ingrid and we had the perfect trip.

Situated in the Amakhala Game Reserve, Leeuwenbosch Shearers Lodge offers country-style accommodation and boasts an outdoor pool and terrace. The whole team were amazing and it felt like one big family- nothing was too much!! The rangers were very knowledgeable, and communicated expertly with one another to ensure you had the best chance of sightings. The reserve has grown significantly since my last visit 14years ago and remains as beautiful as I remembered. The rooms were super comfy, with huge beds and modernised bathrooms. The pool area was lovely, overlooking the reserve with frequent wildlife visitors, making for a great refreshing dip between game drives. The food was delicious! We couldn’t fault it and can’t wait to come back.

Located in Addo, Charihandra Game Lodge features free WiFi throughout, air conditioning and private parking is available on-site. Guests can enjoy swimming at the outdoor pool. Chrihandra has suffered damage from the strong winds and relocated me to a partner property. They were extremely attentive and covered my expenses in the other place which was equally good and equipped! I look forward to stay at Charihandra in the future!

Situated in Jeffreys Bay with easy access to the beach, Surf Lodge South Africa features a balcony with panoramic ocean view. A very beautiful place at the Beach, calm and relaxing. Daniel was a perfect host. Breakfast was great. Beds were big and comfy. Big common area. It's easy to socialise if you want to.
