The place was exceptional with facilities being as described. Rooms were big and comfortable with ample space for everyone. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. With the heavy rains recently we unfortunately ran out of invertor power however in no time there was a generator set up so that our experience was uninterrupted which was more than appreciated. The stay was thoroughly enjoyed by all and I would definitely book again.

As a city boy it is very refreshing to look out and not see another road, high rise or barbwire fence covered houses. This place will always be magical for me. This was our 2nd time and I think it will become tradition.

Located a 14-minute drive from Clarens, Kiara Lodge is set amongst the Maluti Mountains and offers a heated indoor pool, a spa and wellness centre and a children’s playground. Our family holiday was absolutely wonderful, especially for the kids! Everything was conveniently located and within easy reach, making it so stress-free for us as parents. The kids had plenty of activities to keep them entertained, and all the facilities were close by. The layout of the place was incredibly well thought out, with everything placed just where you needed it. It truly made our family getaway seamless and enjoyable for everyone!

Great communication, we didn't arrive prepared with food and they organised great meals and an amazing braai pack too! The pool was clean with a nice slide for kids. The hyena enclosure was a treat, and great to see that they could move around to the game farm and back so not caged. The game drive was also so much fun, and the lion were gorgeous! We were comfortable and relaxed. Loved it!
