Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. This lodge is absolutely amazing from the warm and comfortable rooms to the delicious food and the awesome staff who ensure your every need is met. I loved the views and everything about this stunning lodge. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen. This stay was unplanned and booked last minute. And we didn´t regret it! Tasty food, great wine and a lodge with a view over the game farm. The 2 game tours (evening and morning) ,included into the room rate, are fascinating. We saw all big 5, except leopard, but therefore Cheetahs on the hunt.

Everything and everyone was above expectation, the room and the amenities were great. The bonus to be able and view the giants ar night was mindblowing. On-site Cafe was very good and the general feeling on the lodge was enjoyable. The staff were also exceptionally helpful and friendly.

We had the most incredible stay at Stanley Island. The food, rooms and setting were so beautiful, and especially the service from Fanny at the restaurant made our visit! Set in a forest and nestled among the trees, Moonshine on Whiskey Creek offers self-catering accommodation in wooden cabins, just toff the N2 national road and 15 km away from Plettenberg Bay. Absolutely lovely cabin tucked away in the woods. Just beautiful.
