Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Just perfect! Just out in the bush everything was clean and comfortable. The most friendly staff and a good kitchen. Great hiking possibilities as well to enjoy nature. They are building a new restaurant and will turn parts of the old restaurant/bar into rooms. Just hope they keep some parts of the current restaurant for a drink since it has the most beautiful views!

Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen. Everything was wonderful, the breakfast and dinner were great, the safari was amazing as well, we saw the big 5, even though it’s a small reserve compared to others, the animals were scattered and it was difficult to find them. Lovely experience, will definitely come again.

Set in a forest and nestled among the trees, Moonshine on Whiskey Creek offers self-catering accommodation in wooden cabins, just toff the N2 national road and 15 km away from Plettenberg Bay. A lovely house in the trees, with a view. Quiet, cosy, stylish and comfortable. Great veranda to sit out on, and eat or read. Very convenient for the beautiful Garden Route. We wish we could have stayed longer. All the houses on the property are well separated from each other and not overlooked.

Located in Keurboomstrand, Singing Kettle Beach Lodge features panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and has an à la carte restaurant, terrace and free WiFi. Location, location, what a spot! If you are looking to be away from the city, on the water and having access to a restaurant on site, this is the place to go. There are several other restaurants near by but will need to drive. Service is top notch, they have though of every details.
