Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen. The room, the restaurant and relaxing areas were really quite lovely.

The elephants are majestic and the whole atmosphere at the lodge is incredible! Found myself sitting staring at the elephants for hours. Breakfast was very good. And the staff… Best staff I ever met! Each and every one of them is amazing and made our stay even more perfect. My top recommendation for sure!

Wow what a gem of a place: each self contained room has a kitchen, so self-catering is an option, or dinner at a very good restaurant. The hotel is on a beautiful property; the attention to detail is evident everywhere. The hotel is personal - staff are attentive and go the extra mile - and we loved how it’s decorated. We will definitely be back. One thing to note is that it is on an Island, so you can only get there by ferry.

A gorgeous spot in Knysna! The view from the balcony was breathtaking. We enjoyed star gazing during the load-shedding. Also, a perk is that the WiFi and TV still work during load-shedding. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious, and we felt very safe during our stay. The hosts were also kind enough to let us check out later than originally planned. Truly, a wonderful spot.

Set in a forest and nestled among the trees, Moonshine on Whiskey Creek offers self-catering accommodation in wooden cabins, just toff the N2 national road and 15 km away from Plettenberg Bay. Lovely location ,with cozy wooden cabins surrounded by beautiful indigenous forests.

Located in Keurboomstrand, Singing Kettle Beach Lodge features panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and has an à la carte restaurant, terrace and free WiFi. The staff were exceptional (thank you, Dee and Michelle), and the rooms were top-class, with comfortable beds and fresh, clean linen. Kitchen appliances were a helpful convenience, and small touches like beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc... made our trip most memorable. The views from the rooms are absolutely amazing, and the restaurant below adds a great holiday vibe!
