I stayed at Ikamu's Lodge with my husband and daughter for a week, we came to Johannesburg for a wedding, the place is actually better than the photos. The owner Daivd is very helpful and friendly, the place is very clean, he has a whole team of staff to look after the place. We took lots of good photos of the African decor, while we are actually in the city. There are shops and restaurants just around the corner, free parking is available and the electric gate is very convenient to get in and out of the place. The electric blanket and log fire were lovely (we went in the winter, cold at night). We will definitely stay there again next time we go to Johannesburg.

Every detail, from the breathtaking garden views to the well kept amenities, made it feel truly special and memorable. The host went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. This was one of the most memorable stays I’ve ever had especially considering the amount of effort put into the nature which is on the premises. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a magnificent getaway.
