Kapama River Lodges offers a range of air-conditioned suites, all stylishly furnished and set against the backdrop of the Drakensberg Mountains. Each suite has a private bathroom fitted with a bath and shower and is complete with complimentary amenities, such as a minibar and coffee machine. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! food was great, drinks were included and we could not have asked for a more beautiful experience. the amenities (pool and spa) were stunning! Bedrooms were gorgeous with giraffes frequently walking in the background. the rooms were cleaned 2x/day and the staff were so friendly. definitely worth every penny.

Africa on Foot is located in Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. The rustic-style camp features thatched chalet accommodation, a bar and a viewing deck with splash pool and sun loungers.

The chalets are equipped with a clothing rack, solar powered lamps, mosquito nets and en-suite bathroom with outdoor shower. Water at the camp is gas-heated. We loved our stay at Africa on foot. It was a very unique and special stay that I feel very lucky to have experienced. The walking safaris were like any other and very special to see how the guides track animals. Their skill is incredible. All staff were lovely and knowledgeable - from the guides, through to the cooks and maintenance workers. The food was also amazing! I am vegetarian and was extremely happy with the quality of the food I was given. They feed you really well!

The tented chalets situated within the main lodge area come with a deck and a seating area. Certain chalets are equipped with a bath, shower and free toiletries, while one chalet, known as chiDanga, is equipped with an en suite shower which opens onto the deck. This is the most beautiful place to spend time. We loved our chalet, it was a real bush life experience but it was cosy, clean and luxurious. We loved seeing the animals from our balcony and listening to them as we fell asleep. The staff are truly outstanding. We felt so taken care of. Our room was spotless and serviced every day. We were transferred to and from the airport and they even set up a special dinner to celebrate our honeymoon with Muweti bubbles! The food was delicious and it was such a treat to sit around the fire and have Hardus and Niel cook for us. They are both amazing guides and we learnt so much from them, from Valeria as well! Thank you to the whole team for making our first safari unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

Naledi Lodges lies within the Balule Game Reserve and is located 25 km from Hoedspruit. It boasts panoramic views of the African savannah and features an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and bar.

The units feature views of the pool or mountain and each air-conditioned unit is fitted with a safe, fan and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Some units have a seating area and private pool. Very well designed. Staff is super nice, professional and welcoming

Pondoro has three architecturally designed chalets overlooking the Olifants River. Each chalet has been beautifully decorated with an African theme. All chalets have en-suite bathrooms (with a shower and bath overlooking the river), lounge area, air-conditioning, mosquito nets and a wooden deck. We loved everything about our stay at Pondoro. The room was amazing, the food was delicious, the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable, the setting is truly phenomenal, and we saw the big 5 thanks to our amazing guide and tracker.

The airy lodges at the Motswari Private Game Reserve feature thatched roofs, each equipped with air conditioning and unrivalled savannah views from large wooden decks. They combine traditional décor with a designer touch and include a lounge and bathrooms with bathtub. Our luxury hut was set deep in the Timbavati private game reserve. The drive to Motswari itself is lined with all the wildlife you’d hope to see on a trip to Africa. We had a magical stay here (2 nights). From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave you are really looked after. The service from the staff was next level, they made you feel so welcome and clearly wanted you to have a special experience. Our game driver Godfrey and tracker Elly were charismatic and so informative about the African bush and wildlife. We saw all the big 5 and more, with the most special experience of spotting a leopard in the tree protecting its kill - something we’ll never forget. When not on a game drive you get to enjoy the beautiful views of the reserve from the pool or restaurant where elephants, giraffes and hyenas regularly stroll past. The food and drink was exceptional, they ensured each meal was different and set in a new location, from bush breakfasts to dinners around a log fire and braai. It was a once in a lifetime experience, we certainly hope we'll return some day!
