The spacious suites are designed with unique finishes and en-suite bathrooms. Some rooms have a balcony and all feature views of the garden and lake. Great food and spoil, would thoroughly recommend as a Weekend getaway , but if you are looking for complete romantic privacy then it’s not for you , people can be heard in other rooms , but the hosts do everything to ensure you feel special , great spot

    I liked everything about village lodge. I'm from KZN. So I appreciated the quietness in and around the place. Friendly staff. Neat room I'd booked myself into, very cozy. Lovely scenery 👌🏽 The only thing I forgot was to take pictures ! Otherwise great place, highly recommend it and also very affordable even when I asked to bring someone to share the room with me, the rates weren't bad at all ! Thank you Village Lodge for making my stay in Harrismith a great one.

    Extremely delightful holiday with family. The lodging was beautiful and well maintained. The staff was incredibly helpful. Highly recommend for a unique experience- it truly felt like we were in another country- safe and isolated- enjoyed the privacy and peaceful atmosphere!

    At first while I was driving to the location I was sceptical for a second, but then I saw the beautiful mountains. It was a breathtaking scene. When we passed them and got to the lodge, it took my breath away, everything from the rooms to the views, was spectacular. Highly recommend.
