Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. We renewed our wedding vows at the Lodge. Albert and Elza and their staff went above and beyond to make our stay and in particular the vows renewal special. Thank you again ☺️

Amazing place to stay in the Karoo. Rustic lodge style - very South African 🇿🇦. We loved it so much we stayed another night. Len and his team were so welcoming and fun. Breakfasts were yummy. Dinner was really delicious - we ate there both nights. The garden is beautiful, views and sunsets amazing. Great place to stay. Thanks for having us!

Located in the Assegaay Nature Reserve just outside the town of VanWyksdorp, Rooiberg Lodge features an outdoor swimming pool and on-site restaurant all surrounded by the Rooiberg Mountain Range. Wow! We drove the" wrong" way over the rooiberg pass and arrived the back way, so this felt even more like a dramatic arrival into paradise! Riaan made us feel so welcome- lit fires, advised walking tracks and checked us in. The dinner was one of the best we had on South Africa. Great wine, roaring fire, good coffee and breakfast.... I would happily hole up in room 8 for at least a week. Thank you all for a fabulous stay.

Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is an authentic and contrasting natural space, conveniently located along Route 62, a mere 3.5 hours from Cape Town in the arid Little Karoo. Sanbona is a magical place. The safaris, Bianca our guide, the staff & service were fanatic and we enjoyed our time as a family.
