Zur Alten Mine is situated 5 km outside of Graskop. Guests can walk around the dam in the gardens or hike up to the old mine. Everything, very clean, organized, cozy and had everything you needed. Location is very pretty and peaceful. I loved everything about it. Would go back time and time again.

Without a doubt the best location we stayed at in our 3 weeks in South Africa. We booked a full day Gamedrive in Kruger with Khululeka and we were fortunate to see the big 5 in one day! It's truly a magical and special place.

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the lodge and its surroundings. The lodge perfectly blends luxury and nature, offering an authentic yet comfortable safari experience. Accommodation: The rooms were beautifully appointed, providing a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. Waking up to the sounds of nature and the sight of the stunning landscape right from our window was a daily delight. Staff: The staff at Milima Big 5 went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. They were attentive, friendly, and always available to assist with anything we needed. Food: The culinary experience was a highlight in itself. Each meal was a delightful adventure, with a variety of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes. The quality and presentation of the food were exceptional, adding to the overall luxury of our stay. Wildlife Experience: The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the wildlife. Guided by our fantastic guide, Sydney, we embarked on thrilling game drives, witnessing an abundance of animals in their natural habitat. Sydney's knowledge and passion for wildlife enriched our experience, making each sighting more special. The house and rooms were beautifully decorated. The entire property was spotlessly clean. The host was extremely attentive and couldn't have been more accommodating. We only wish we could have stayed longer. I would definitely recommend Muunga Bush Lodge. I never give 10 stars!

Such a beautiful and well appointed property! Everything about it is special-the attention to detail, gorgeous artwork, super comfortable bed and linens, fabulous soaking tub, gorgeous grounds and pool. The owner, Alet, was amazing. From the moment she greeted us with welcome drinks she was the consummate host. She arranged an incredible and romantic private dinner by the pool one evening, had great suggestions and went above and beyond to help us find reservations for Kruger when we were leaving. And her breakfasts were fantastic! Incredible food and beautifully presented. I couldn’t recommend it more!

We had a bug in our initial room and got relocated to another room immediately - the service is just unbelievably good!

Rixile Kruger Lodge is an ideal place to spend some days exploring Kruger. The location is very convenient just outside the Paul Kruger gate. Clint was the perfect host. He was very responsive to my questions prior to arrival and checked in on us each day to make sure all was ok. The excellent communication (via Booking and WhatsApp) was much appreciated, especially since we were coming from the US and taking multiple modes of transportation. We were with friends and stayed in the villa, which entailed 3 separate buildings for the bedrooms; a main building with the very well appointed kitchen and living area; a small plunge pool; a braai; and a comfortable patio with large table. The rooms were spotless and bed was extremely comfortable. The whole area was very private and the bedrooms had floor to ceiling windows. There were both indoor and outdoor showers with good water pressure. The shower in one room was kind of in the room with a glass door, so maybe hanging a nice piece of cloth or curtain would be a nice addition. As others have said, the road to the villa was slightly confusing once through the first gate, but Clint provided us detailed instructions so we found it without an issue. The lodge next door is nice for a sundowner over the river or dinner if you don’t feel like cooking. Note that unless walking over in daytime, you will need to drive. We will definitely return to Rixile if back in the area. I wish that we could have stayed longer than 2 nights. Thank you, Clint!
