Tessa the guest relation manager and all the other staff are amazing, super friendly and accommodating. They arranged for us different tours and were always providing valuable program suggestions. We especially liked the horse riding at Bhanghazi stables and the night turtle tour with Shakabarker Tours. We stayed 5 days at Leopards Corner Lodge and enjoyed a lot. The pet-friendly lodge offers a barbecue. We really enjoyed our time at Tugela River Lodge. There’s so many things to do within the property like kayak, mountain bike, trails, and little farm area. It’s very clean and the staff and owner are super friendly and always willing to assist. The farm stall has a lot of supplies, so if you forget anything you wouldn’t even need to drive out. Very pet friendly as well - everything we could do with our little mini dachshund. She loved her time there and the fenced off area is big and safe. The wood-fired tub is an amazing way to wind down. The view is amazing and Bheki always comes to help fire it up ahead of time. All in all a fantastic experience as a couple, and I’m sure it’d be lovely for a family and friends group too!
