Overlooking the Rietspruit and Umgeni Valleys in the Natal Midlands, The Hilton Bush Lodge is located in Hilton. Pietermaritzburg is 22 km from the property. Free private parking is available on site.... The property was beautiful. We loved the view of the waterfall, and if you ask the host, they will tell you how to hike down to it. We saw wildlife and tons of birds. It was quiet and we felt very safe and as a special bonus of the floors were heated. Wonderful especially in winter.

Located in Nottingham Road, Gowrie Farm Golf Lodge overlooks a golf course and offers panoramic views of the dam and lush surroundings. It features a sun terrace and a bar. Location was great, staff were friendly and helpful, our check in and out was a pleasure, our room was clean and very comfortable, the outlook was fantastic and our breakfast was exceptional as was the service. The overall decor was lovely too! We certainly hope to return again.

Jenny and Earl were so welcoming, friendly and really passionate about this beautiful area! Thank you for a wonderful visit-we will be back!

Situated in the heart of the Lions River Valley in the Midlands, St Ives Midlands and Venue is set on a 140-hectare private wildlife estate. Very comfortable and safe. We were visiting family at the Ambers, and this was the perfect location, which was well equipped and had a number of animals roaming the grounds. It had a mini kitchen in the family rooms, with a fridge, microwave and utensils, comfortable beds, and spacious bathrooms. We didn't have breakfast or dinner there but Piggly Wiggly is just across the road.
