We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Palorto Inn, set in a beautifully renovated Ottoman house in the old town of Gjirokastër. Everything is brand new, with a spacious, stylish and very comfortable room. The welcome was exceptional: the owner is truly incredible and the staff extremely attentive, kind, and caring. They also helped us solve all our little issues — including a problem we had with our car — and were of great assistance throughout our stay. Breakfast, currently served in a nearby restaurant, was delicious.

The hotel is everything you want in Gjyrokaster. The best location, clean, newly refurbished hotel, large terrace, excellent breakfast, quiet and comfy. Very attentive service from everybody we met. We are difficult clients but this hotel is 10/10. Well done guys!

Beautiful hotel, absolutely spotless! Located on top of the hill with the best views of Saranda looking out to corfu, it was something out of a postcard! The pool was an added bonus, breakfast was delicious. We have been recommending this hotel to everyone! 10/10

    Were to start? This place is amazing. The owners are so nice and humble. Their dog Rambo is also very lovely. The place is breathtaking, calm and peaceful. The room was beautiful, very modern and classy. The red wine they are making on the grounds is delicious. We bought 3 bottles. The food is also outstanding. Try the bread, vegetables, meat balls and tzatziki for sure. There are many birds in the area and garden. The Barrels is also very close to Gjirokaster bazar and castle. We also went to Ali Pasha bridge. Amazing place.

    We loved everything about The Barrels. The hospitality was outstanding, so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. The food we ate at breakfast and dinner was delicious with great vegetarian options. We really enjoyed sitting by the vines watching the chickens. Highly recommend!

    The host was super nice and welcoming us with homemade muffin and cold beers and water in the freg. The apartment was spacy, spotless, and very luxury like a 5 star hotel and all the furniture was high quality and well decorated with love. The kitchen was well equipped and they provide EVERYTHING you need to cook! (we did not have time to cook though) We have been traveling around the world and Novi's apartment was absolutely the best private accommodation ever we stayed! The location was also great to walk everywhere easily.

    The location in the countryside outside Gjirokaster was beautiful. Marcel and his family have created a rustic haven with modern accommodation they have just completed. Breakfast and dinner in the shade of fruit trees and grapevines, overlooking the vineyard was stunning. Chickens, a turkey and guinea fowl amongst the vineyard were constant amusement. Marcel was an outstanding host and couldn't do enough for us from the moment we arrived.
