We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Palorto Inn, set in a beautifully renovated Ottoman house in the old town of Gjirokastër. Everything is brand new, with a spacious, stylish and very comfortable room. The welcome was exceptional: the owner is truly incredible and the staff extremely attentive, kind, and caring. They also helped us solve all our little issues — including a problem we had with our car — and were of great assistance throughout our stay. Breakfast, currently served in a nearby restaurant, was delicious.

Staff was really amazing! They do everything they can to fell you comfortable. They even asked about what we like for breakfast and bring avocado to be sure my wife would be satisfied because we don't eat meat. They also cooked some food even if we arrived super late 10:30 pm! And cherry on the cake, food was super tasty, super yummy. Hotel and rooms are brand new, staff is super helpful, kind and available. Localisation is perfect if you have a car, 5mn from the center of Gjirokaster. A perfect stay, we enjoyed everything and would be very pleased to stay at this hotel again. Definitely recommend this place! Thank you!

This was a hotel that I didn't want to leave. We actually stayed one extra night. The hotel was up on the hill in the middle of the old city, a lot of climbing (if you didn't come by car) but definitely worth it. Our room was upgraded and had a beautiful view over the old city and from the restaurant you could see the snow covered (at least in the morning) mountains. It was November so the weather was cool in the mornings. Breakfast was overwhelming filling up the whole table. Delicious croissants etc. Staff was very friendly, easy going in an Albanian way. We were really sorry to have to continue our journey after three perfect days in this hotel (and city of Gjirokaster).

The hotel has a great location, it is set on the highest part of town, so has great views. The roads leading up to the hotel go through the old part of town, so the roads are a bit narrow, to start with. The rooms are mostly wooden items and has a good walk-in shower. The breakfast is good buffet style. The hotel has two swimming pools on the roof so great views. We have stayed here before and would do again. Has a nice restaurant which is used for breakfast and lunch and dinner, great food and great views.
