Very lovely and quiet place surrounded by beautiful nature. If you travel by car and plan to visit Gjirokaster, then it is a great place to stay. Gjirokaster is full of tourists and busy, so you can relax and enjoy some peace in Bujtina Sophie. You can visit historical and amazing church next door, take some great walks and enjoy good food. I really loved baked cheese with figs and pistachios. Breakfast was nice, beds were comfortable and room was clean. It is a great place to stay to take some time off and just enjoy the peace.

Staff was really amazing! They do everything they can to fell you comfortable. They even asked about what we like for breakfast and bring avocado to be sure my wife would be satisfied because we don't eat meat. They also cooked some food even if we arrived super late 10:30 pm! And cherry on the cake, food was super tasty, super yummy. Hotel and rooms are brand new, staff is super helpful, kind and available. Localisation is perfect if you have a car, 5mn from the center of Gjirokaster. A perfect stay, we enjoyed everything and would be very pleased to stay at this hotel again. Definitely recommend this place! Thank you!

Very nice hotel by a river with beautiful view over the river and valley. We had two babies 3 and 4 years old and we loved going to the river and play. Food at the restaurant was good. But there is no pool like we thought but the river was much better than any pool.

Villa Permet seems like someone took a piece of Tuscany and put it in Permet. Rooms are beautiful, and fresh. Staff is extremely helpful, if you haven’t book any activities prior to coming they will help you with everything! Make sure to have one dinner there to enjoy the atmosphere of this place. And of course good breakfast!

There are really no words to fully describe how wonderful this place is. Literally amazing, definitely our best stay during our trip in Albania. We stayed just one night due to the short period of time we had, but we wish we could have stayed longer.Ada and Marcel are incredible hosts; they made us feel welcome from the very first moment and interacted with us on many occasions, giving the best advice and sharing lots of emotions. Their place is a gem surrounded by nature and beautiful mountains, far from the noise of the city but still close to it (around 10 minutes by car from the old town). The room was really beautiful with a great view, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was super: tasty juice, an omelette made from the eggs of their chickens, who you can see crawling in the garden, then butter, orange jam, and bread, all of them homemade, and to finish, a crepe with Nutella. Everything was delicious. We also had dinner there: we took the pork meat, of which we could smell and taste the grill; tasty salad with tomatoes, onion, and cucumbers; and to make our evening more interesting, we ordered a bottle of one of the 4 red wines that they produce. Super tasty. We also tried 2 glasses of another red wine and 2 glasses of their only white wine. Really tasty as well. Absolutely fair prices for what we had. We’d like to thank Ada and Marcel for this amazing experience and for making us feel at home. We will definitely come back!

Staying in Novi’s luxury apartment during our trip to Gjirokastra, was a big surprise for us. It was a new, expertly designed apartment. A luxurious and very comfortable apartment. We were amazed by the interweaving of the classic with the modern, by the large area of the apartment as well as the hospitality of the owners who had carefully considered every detail. We were welcomed with homemade sweets, different teas, coffee and beer. They were very friendly to us. It is definitely the most beautiful apartment we have ever stayed in, offering a unique experience. We highly recommend it to everyone who will visit Gjirokastra.

This apartment is located up the hill behind the oval, quite a steep drive/walk up to the apartment building but worth the effort. Don't be put off by the exterior as the owners have made a very comfortable, modern apartment with plenty of thoughtful touches. Like a toaster! Great view from the balcony, has a washing machine outside on the balcony as well. Owner contacted us when we arrived, and met us in town to show where it is.
