This is a really good hotel, excellent in every way but I will especially mention the facilities for those travelling by bicycle - it has a dedicated, locked storage room for bikes with power sockets for charging e-bikes.

Right on the shore of Lake Wolfgang, Seehotel Billroth in Sankt Gilgen offers a private beach with a sunbathing lawn and pedal boats. Tennis can be played free of charge.

We loved everything! It all started with an exceptional staff who gave us a wonderful welcome, prepared a high-standard room for us, and even arranged a birthday surprise for my wife at my request. The breakfast was excellent, and it continued with the amazing location, stunning views, and a quiet, pleasant town that’s a real joy to explore. Everything was perfect – highly recommended!

Loved everything! It totally exceeded my expectations. Outstanding view, great restaurant with attentive staff (try the Marillenknödel!), awesome breakfast, free parking, animal-friendly, lovely private beach with free rowboat and SUPs (and turquoise water!); and all at a great price. This is how you run a private hotel. Hats off to all staff! Thanks for a great stay and for the unexpected upgrade! (Booked single bed, got double! 😀)

Beautiful hotel overlooking the lake. Our room had stunning views and a spacious terrace. The outdoor pool and spa area is fantastic. There is a good variety of food on offer at breakfast and we ate in the restaurant twice during our stay and the food was superb. What sets this hotel apart is the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful and efficient.

The family-run Boutique Hotel Aichinger in the centre of Nussdorf offers a private beach on Lake Attersee, which is 700 metres away. Free WiFi access and parking are available free of charge.

Everything, literally everything. It's almost like family at this traditional Austrian hotel. Rooms maybe be small but very carefully and well equipped. Kids play area and private lake area complete the experience. Staff and owners were so so considerate it was exceptional. Marjorie, Alexandria and Hugo really put their heart in this property. This is the kind of of place that stays in your heart forever. One of the best stays I've had anywhere
