I booked very last minute and this place was exactly what I needed — authentic, surrounded by nature, yet still close to town. The service was outstanding from the start: fast responses, seamless transport, and genuinely local recommendations. Cristina and Carlos went above and beyond to make everything fantastic — they organized a private tour to Carbonera to see the wax palms, one of the best coffee experiences with brewing methods, horseback riding, and even restaurant suggestions. Everything was arranged instantly and worked out perfectly. The Wi-Fi was excellent (great for remote work), communication via WhatsApp was quick and attentive, and the property itself has a modern, fresh look and feel.

The hotel is very beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, and everything looks awesome. The service was excellent, staff were attentive, kind, and always ready to help.

We had an incredible stay at Wayra Natura, which was so comfortable and enjoyable that we ended up extending our trip by a month. The home / hotel serves as the perfect base to explore the Eje Cafetero including Circasia, Filandia and Salento. The kindness and attention of Hubeimar (host and owner) are truly exceptional. He has created a stunning environment that prioritizes comfort, making every guest feel at home. The location is ideal – quiet, private, and surrounded by nature. We spotted numerous bird species, flowering plants and trees right on the property. He also has herb gardens for teas, and vegetable plots for salads. The view has no roads or vehicles in sight! The hotel just a 10-minute walk away from catching the bus to any of the towns, yet at the hotel there is no noise pollution. Our room was immaculately clean and well-appointed, far surpassing our expectations. The outdoor kitchen is cozy and of high quality, making us feel like we were truly at home. Considering the excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and luxurious accommodations, the price was incredibly reasonable. We even formed a special bond with the three friendly dogs on staff! If you're looking for a peaceful retreat that's close to nature but still convenient, Wayra Natura is an absolute gem. A wonderful place with amazing views, open space, grazing animals, diverse birds, and a staff that makes you want to cry on departure! From the logo to the arrival greeting to the rooms and the staff… this place is CLASSY of and on every level. They truly made a place to stay that feels like a wonderful home where you can enjoy a relaxing escape. This farm has been remodeled to a superb standard while keeping the traditional look and feel of a colonial era we should all long to visit and experience. Ten rooms… each different and all amazing. Comfortable beds, hot water, good towels, in-room fridge with snacks, lots of light, TV (but won’t watch it because you’ll be enjoying the outdoors), and more. Each with personality and charm. The food. Wow. Typical of many small hotels and nice B&B facilities in Colombia… it’s amazing and plentiful. Fruit, breads, juices, delicious coffee, and a menu broad enough to please anyone for even a week’s worth of stay. Have the hot chocolate! This is THE place to stay for access to the SFF Otún Quimbaya reserve. Super easy walk. For birders… we had 71 species and 3 endemics in just one full day and two half days. Mot mots, toucanets, tanagers, hummingbirds, seedeaters, the Cauca Guan, and more… and the star of the area… the fun to watch Torrent Duck can be seen ON PROPERTY! Mandalay can arrange birding, visits to amazing waterfalls, coffee farms, and more. They make it EASY and wonderful to see the area amd enjoy it. This is a full service, stress free place to stay and do everything or nothing at all. The best part… by far… the owners, operators, and staff. Simply amazing. Everyone amazingly polite, superbly attentive, and truly authentic. They constantly show you why Colombians are world renown for warmth and kindness. Assistance and smiles constantly.

Was welcomed with open arms. Have to filandia before at anotjer place and didnt feel the love we felt at Villa Jair. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing, coffee kept coming. The proximity to the town square was only four blocks.
