The view was spectacular and the setting quiet and peaceful. Rowdy behavior is not tolerated which made this a tranquil space. The space was ultra clean and comfortable and the infinity pool magical.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful vacation home and couldn’t recommend it more. The location is absolutely perfect, just a quick 3-minute drive from the heart of Santa Teresa, so you’re close to the best restaurants and shops, yet far enough to fully enjoy the peacefulness and natural beauty of the jungle. Nestled on a quiet hillside with stunning ocean views, the setting is serene and feels like a private retreat. The house itself is spacious, thoughtfully designed, and ideal for both families and groups of friends. Every detail has been carefully considered, from the layout to the decor, creating a space that’s both functional and stylish. The concierge service was fast, friendly, and incredibly helpful, making our stay seamless from start to finish. We felt well taken care of the entire time. If there was ever a place that I could give more than the maximum rating, it would be the Selva Resort. I cannot fault a single thing. From the moment I booked up until the moment of checkout everyone has been amazingly friendly. Fernando has helped me in more than one way from the booking onwards up until the engagement I was planning. I could not have done it without his help. And it was not only Fernando that was truly the personification of the Pura Vida, the cleaning staff was so helpful and thoughtful aswell. Also the owner of the hotel made us feel so welcome and I did not expect to have even met him. Super friendly and a genuine man. If you are doubting whether to book this hotel, please take my statement as a guarantee of one of the (if not THE) most amazing stay in your life. Treat yourself to a holiday home of luxury and class where you can truly relax. The house itself is built in pristine condition and you feel like royalty. You are in the center of Santa Teresa, the beach is a stonethrow away and I could not imagine myself in a better place. Our host was really great - very helpful, communicative and a lot of good and honest advices on making tours and where to go e.g. surfing. The host speaks German, Dutch, Spanish and English well (maybe further languages), this made the conversation easy with all the guests. We felt welcome and had an awesome quiet time in Jodokus Inn and nice activities in Montezuma (the waves for surfing are nice at playa grande, better go for a bioluminescence kayak tour in Paquera) :) The sleeping room is equipped with a good mosquito net at the windows, a powerful fan and the bed was comfortable. There is a lot of really nice wood furnitures and floors and a nice view on the ocean in distance, which creates a special and relaxing atmosphere with the amazing garden and animals. We enjoyed the tasty breakfast with fresh pineapple or mango, cheese, eggs, yogurt, cornflakes, toast, coffee etc and the well equipped kitchen very much (all the ingredients are provided in your own big fridge and you can prepare your breakfast whenever you want). The garden of our host is amazing. We saw howler monkeys, white-faced capuchin monkeys eating bananas, an agouti, a coati eating ants and the rest of a pineapple, rare doves and different fruits like starfruit, oranges and grapefruits (we were allowed to pick and eat them). We’d like to prolong our stay at Jodokus Inn!
