Clounys is essentially a tiny five-star-hotel. At least that is how the interior feels. Every handle, every piece of furniture and every surface is of high quality, designed by Bielefelder Werkstätten, I have been told. Especially the beds and bedding are amazing. The staff is very friendly and relaxed, they have a sense of humor and are informal. Please stay like that. There is also a top notch restaurant, which offers delicious food throughout the day. Clounys is right next to a subway station and since it is located in a shopping street, there is everything you need for a perfect northern Hamburg stay in 3 minute walking distance: supermarket, dry cleaner, pharmacy, undertaker. Also, minutes away: The beautiful Alsterpark, which feels more like an old growth forest.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is perfect – close to everything, yet quiet and peaceful. The rooms are cozy and beautifully designed, with very comfortable beds and a great minibar. Every detail is so thoughtfully taken care of – and that truly made us feel welcome and relaxed. We especially appreciated the dog-friendly amenities, which made our furry friend feel at home too. The breakfast was delicious, and the beautiful park nearby was perfect for morning walks.
