The cottage was very cozy with its own garden that allows some privacy and a lovely view. We would love to come in winter to enjoy the wood stove in the living room. It is situated a short walk from Llangollen so visiting the town was easy. Helen was very friendly and helpful. We plan on returning with the kids to stay on their other camping site.

The accommodation was super cozy. I really loved the underfloor heating – I absolutely enjoy walking barefoot, and it was amazing! The large panoramic windows were a great feature, but the curtains closed fully for privacy. The hosts’ yard was well-maintained and beautifully decorated with lights, adding to the charming atmosphere. The house is located in the forest, making it incredibly peaceful. One of the things I appreciated the most was the cleanliness – the room was spotless, meeting high European standards. Not a single stain on the glass or a speck of dust anywhere. There were also plenty of toiletries available, so everything you might need was provided. If you ever need anything extra, you can simply drive down the hill where the accommodation is situated. In just two minutes, you’ll reach the first petrol station with a convenience store that stays open late. And in about 5–7 minutes by car, you’ll find yourself in Llangollen. Overall, a fantastic stay – highly recommended!

Clean, well equipped cottage, it’s clear the owners care about their property and guests due to the lovely little touches around the cottage. We were there in winter and used the log burner (worth taking your own logs as there were only a couple in the bag) and the central heating was good so we were nice and warm. Quirky staircase, which is very cute but care needed and not suitable for people with limited mobility. Bedrooms are lovely with nice fresh bedding and there’s storage for cases/bags etc. Outside space and parking was especially good to allow us to let the dog out without worrying about escape (Labrador). There’s a wood just across the road that was lovely to do a 15 minute circular off lead walk with the dog, and fabulous walks from the cottage to the Panorama ( or just minutes in the car). We’d definitely stay again :-)

Our property keys were in a lock box situated at the back of the property - the host (Helen) was very apologetic that she could not meet us in person but this wasn't a problem at all as the code for the lockbox and other necessary information was provided well in advance so we had no issues. I stupidly put the wrong postcode into the satnav but if you do it right the first time you have no issues at all! The property was immaculate - one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. It is secluded, which is what we wanted - unfortunately the local pub right outside was closed for refurbishment but we did a 5 minute drive to Horseshoe Falls and walked along the canal into the town of Llangollen and stayed there for the afternoon/evening. The property had all amenities you could need, plenty of cooking equipment and utensils and board games to boot. It was very comfortable, clean and we would return in the future - highly recommend.

Very cozy lodge with amazing views! The log burner is absolutely perfect for keeping the place warm and for creating a relaxing environment. The sauna was fantastic and had an incredible view! I feel like this is a perfect getaway lodge no matter what time of the year, but the sauna and log burner make it absolutely perfect for winter! The hostess was very kind, friendly, and informative of what there is to do around the area. This was my first time using booking.com for a little getaway and it was perfect. Very happy here, will be coming back! Many thanks:)
