A loving family runs this place. You won’t find a more accommodating and truly kind host than Sonny - always eager to secure your comfort or solve any matters of concern. There’s Stewart clan here and the place is beautifully dressed in antique collections. Michael (Sr.) is the chef and makes tasty dinners & yummy breakfasts. Both breakfast and dining rooms are spacious with lovely views of the yard. And yes, I got my cream for coffee and cereal! The twin room was compact, clean and quiet after the local crows finished their morning chat. Selkirk and surroundings have a lot to offer sightseers. Beautiful country. Our favourite facilities were the hot tub and the BBQ. The pod was very welcoming, clean and the perfect size for a couple. We loved the outdoor lighting as well and the view was very nice. The owners are extremely welcoming people.
