Unbeatable location - so pleased we stayed in Amalfi and then travelled from there on day trips to Sorrento, Positano, Cetara, Salerno and Paestum. The Hotel Residence is right across from the main beach and in front of the bus and taxi station, right behind the Duomo - superbreakfast and the rooms are so beautiful, it's a lovely lovely place!

This must be the best hotel on the Amalfi coast and one of the top hotels in the whole of Italy. It is a modern, family-owned property (renovated in the last 5 years I think) that exudes cool design and discrete luxury. Built on top of a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean, you enter on the top floor and then descend through the hotel and down to the private beach. There are two restaurants (a beach trattoria and a fine dining restaurant that doubles as the breakfast restaurant). The food and service are excellent (they particularly pride themselves on the breakfast offering). There’s a 24 hour gym stocked with new technogym equipment. Our room was spectacular, with amazing views over the Mediterranean. The room was cleaned thoroughly in the morning and the maid came again in the evenings to sort the bathroom, turn down the bed etc. Maintenance deserves to be mentioned; the hotel is spotlessly clean and obviously well maintained. I have travelled widely and visited many great hotels, but this has to be the best I have ever stayed in.

wonderful!! i have visited many hotels, but I assure you that this suite is the most beautiful of the Amalfi coast, cared for in every detail, cozy and home of harmony and love. it has stunning views with hot tub on the terrace seemed to be in paradise. it has a jewelry showcase where you will find corals and pearls and a beautiful champagne showcase!! Loved everything. We cannot say enough about this beautiful property and the gorgeous hosts. Vanessa and Salvatore were beautiful genuine people that made our trip to the Amalfi coast amazing. Modern Amalfi coast vibe and the small things like power points and lights next to each side of bed etc. Special mention to the staff at Settebello Minori too where a lovely breakfast is provided. They also couldn’t do enough for us. Great stay 💙🤍💙🤍

View above the sea is one of the best we have ever seen. The beach at the end of the stairs together with the lime trees makes this place a piece of paradise. Guglielmo is one of the most passionate hosts we have ever met. Very kind and helpful. For sure a place to return.

It was the most beautiful day in Maiori. We arrived early, left our luggage at the reception, and were transferred to the room after the room was clean. it was a very comfortable, modern room. It was very nice to sit on the balcony, the sea was visible. It was the central street of Mairin, cafes, shops, markets were all nearby. The host was very attentive.
