    Andre was an absolute gentleman, our room was outstanding, location was so central. it was absolutely perfect. I have sent details of this property to friends going to Venice soon. I can only give it 10/10 & if I could give stars, I could give them 5 stars.

    This little Venetian retreat entirely does away with the usual trappings of Venetian hotels. No clinging to outdated ideas of luxury -- as in some of the chains and faux 4/5* offerings. Instead, a beautiful walled garden awaits overlooking the intersection of two waterways, with rooms superbly well-realised with a serene, homely yet luxurious atmosphere throughout. Service is personal and impeccable for the most part. The location puts you in the heart of Cannaregio and the lively rio della Misericordia.
