My stay at Danisco Leisure Bungalow was spectacular. The family made me feel like home from the very first moment. I was alone so finding such lovely host is really a treasure. The rooms are incredible, all the furniture is brand new and the attention to detail is incredible. The air conditioning is a game changer. Also, the food is something I could never forget. The location is perfect if you want to relax by the pool in a very safe and quiet area but at the same time you want to explore Kandy during the day. Higly recommended!

The hotel is situated in an amazing and quiet location a bit outside of busy Kandy. It has a lovely well groomed garden and a big swimming pool. The room was very comfortable (mini fridge), clean and large (was upgraded ) offering amazing views from both terraces for sunrise and sunset - absolutely stunning and very relaxing to do yoga or other . The breakfast and dinner was very good offering a variety of Sri Lankan and Western dishes. Many thanks to the very kind and attentive staff for making my stay so wonderful !!! Highly recommended and will definitely come again.

What an amazing place! Everything was superb. From the incredible staff who anticipated my every need, to the delicious food and the variety of activities in the area. I was truly surprised by how wonderful the place was. The property is not only perfect for those who appreciate comfort, but also for those looking to explore the nearby cultural sights. The team at the house went above and beyond to make sure our stay was unforgettable! The attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made our experience exceptional. Exceptional stay! Mr Kushala and his wife really care about their guests – their homestay is incredibly clean, in a big beautiful house on a hill 5mins outside te busy traffic of Kandy's main streets. There are all kinds of fruit trees in the yard and you'll see monkeys and squirrels in the trees, and if you're lucky be lulled to sleep by the gentle chattering of the fruit bats. My room was spotless and had a lovely balcony that looked out into the trees, so peaceful and a great spot for a calming tea. The breakfasts were outstanding, so huge and delicious and different every day, as were the dinners I ordered. You really become part of the family. And Mr kushala is very willing to give you lifts to or from the station, or do a tour to where you want to go around or outside of town. Love seeing how much passion they have for Kandy and Sri Lanka!

This was a very relaxed hotel. Atmosphere was very chilled. The service and food were really nice and the breakfast was especially nice to.

You will be lost in the forest after 15 minutes drive from Kandy. You will see the mountains, you will hear the birds when you wake up. The hotel provided an extra bad for our daughter - nice. The ambience and welcome were in colonial tradition. We had the 7 course dinner which was good after a relaxing day at the pool. Women in traditional dresses were collecting tea leaves from a small tea plantation in front of our chalet.
